2023 Boston Marathon

The Matt Brown Foundation will have two bibs in the 2023 Boston Marathon this April!

THE TEAM:

Matt and his running partner, Lucas Carr, are back at it again for the 2023 Boston Marathon! This year will mark their ninth Boston Marathon together and their 12th overall. And it will be the third year that the Matt Brown Foundation will have a team participating in the Marathon as well. Running the Boston Marathon for their own foundation has always been a dream of theirs and now they get to live it every year.

Joining the team this year is Brendan Greene. Brendan and Matt met at Stonehill College during Matt’s freshman year when Brendan and his roommates lived across the hall. Sharing a love for hockey, the two of them clicked right away and remained close through school. This will be Brendan’s first Boston Marathon and we couldn’t be happier to have him be a part of the team.

The Matt Brown Foundation’s commitment is to support and assist groups, individuals, and families living with or recovering from illness or injury with a particular emphasis on spinal cord injuries.
