It is estimated that the costs of a spinal cord injury can reach over $1 million in the first year after an injury occurs, and over $150,000 in each subsequent year. While insurance covers portions of these costs, many times individuals and families are left to cover these expenses on their own.

The goal of our Quality of Life Grant Program is to lift the burden of some of these expenses, while providing individuals with the necessary pieces of equipment or renovations to help make their everyday life a little bit easier than the day before. Since our incorporation in 2020, the foundation has been able to surpass $300,000 in grants to individuals battling paralysis.

We have played a role in handicap accessible van purchases, home and bathroom renovations, and pieces of home equipment such as standing frames and overhead lifts.
